SHIPPING COSTS
The shipping costs will be calculated in your cart. We will send our art with PostNL (a Dutch shipping company) and we use registered mail for all the 3D art, 3D portrets and commissioned art. This shipping method has a track and trace code and insurance. Prints will be sent with a normal package with track and trace code.

– The Netherlands: total order amount of < € 250,-
– Countries within Europe: total order amount of € 500,-
– Rest of the world (ROW): total order amount of € 1000,-
TAXES & DUTIES
Within the European Union orders are shipped on DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that all taxes and duties are included in the final price. Orders outside the EU are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis, meaning that all taxes and duties are excluded in the final price. Your order may therefore be subject to local taxes and import duties, which are levied by your local customs authority or the used shipping carrier. We are unable to calculate the exact amount in duties and taxes your order might incur, as these charges are imposed directly by the Norwegian, UK and US customs and postal code. Eva Bergman (EB) does not cover any such taxes, duties or related charges. Taxes and duties incurred on refused or unclaimed packages are not covered by EB.
DELAYS
EB is not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, e.g. general labour dispute, extreme weather, pandemics, acts of war, fire, lightning, terrorist attacks, changed governmental orders, technical problems, defects in power- /tele-/computer communications or other communication and defects or delays in the service by sub-suppliers due to circumstances set forth above. Such circumstances shall result in relief from damages and other measures. If any such situation should arise, EB shall inform the customer accordingly both at the beginning and the end of the period for the current situation. If the situation has lasted for more than four months, both the customer and EB are entitled to terminate the purchase with immediate effect.
RETURNS
We accept returns and exchanges made within 8 days after delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please remember that you are held accountable for any damages that may occur during the return shipment, please pack it well. The shipping costs for the initial delivery and the return are for the customer. To return your product, first send an email to info@evabergman.nl with your order number and request. After confirmation from us, you can send your product to the address provided. If you are returning from a country outside the EU, please state clearly on the parcel that the shipment is a RETURN ORDER. If you fail to do so there will be import duty or taxes that we will balance with your order. When you send a package back to us, please make sure to use a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for any lost packages. We reserve the right to deny credit if the package returned to us is damaged or incomplete or does not meet our return policy requirements in any other way.
The return policy as mentioned above is not valid for commissioned work and custom made pieces, since they are hand made to order.
DAMAGED GOODS
Small cracks can be part of the design, depending on the texture/pattern of the artwork. Larger cracks that reveal different, underlaying colors and materials should be reported. Each order comes with a repair kit for emergencies.
Be sure to check the goods for any damage when you receive the delivery. Goods with visible external shipping damage should be claimed from us, you have to have the damage noted on your bill of lading from the shipping company in connection with the receipt. Ask the driver to note the damage. If you would discover hidden defects / transport damages after opening the package, communicate this as soon as possible to EB. At any transport damage contact info@evabergman.nl and attach the message with clear pictures of the damage and possibly damaged packaging and provide the email with your order number. For us to be able to claim damaged goods to the shipping company, we need to notify transport damage to the shipping company within 1-3 work days. We are therefore grateful if you report the damage within that time.
